Working Relationships Appreciation (WRA)
The WRA is a diagnostic process used to develop managers, teams and organisations. It is designed to help people improve the way they work together in organisations. It is based on the Tripod of Work Model, which explores the quality of working relationships based on 3 related leadership activities.
The WRA is part of a suite of questionnaires which include:
- Working Relationships Appreciation (WRA) – the WRA identifies and evaluates working relationships between a leader and his/her individual team members, and his/her own manager,
- Peer Relationship Appreciation (PRA) – this provides information on working relationships between peers or colleagues. The PRA can be used on its own or in tandem with the WRA. It is particularly useful in team development, in improving collaboration across departments, and in strengthening trans-border ties in international organisations.
- Customer / Supplier Relationship Appreciation – this provides information on working relationships between a leader and third parties, such as customers and suppliers.
- Organisation WRA – this is valuable in exploring perceptions about wider organisational relationships.
It enables a leader to identify which key relationships need to be improved and which can be leveraged to ensure success.
